Single Server Tuning
This Service covers any single application on a single system that is
Running on Solaris, HP-UX, AIX, or Linux.
A tuned system allows conducting a more detailed fine-tuning study, which
is considered the baseline for any future capacity analysis. These best
practice based recommendations allow circumventing approximately 80% of the
performance issues caused by inadequate logical resource allocation
scenarios.
The services provide you with the initial tuning recommendations for:

- The network stack
- The IO subsystem, the file system
